Overview:

As a member of a specialized committee at the Capacity Building Commission, I contributed to a strategic initiative aimed at recognizing and celebrating innovative practices introduced by Indian civil servants. This initiative was designed to highlight outstanding examples of innovation in public administration, capturing their impact, the innovators behind these achievements, and the valuable lessons learned. Leveraging process management frameworks, design thinking methodologies, and comprehensive stakeholder engagement, our team successfully documented transformative public-sector innovations nationwide.

  • Process Mapping & Strategic Planning

Served as a core member of a three-person committee responsible for conceptualizing, mapping, and standardizing the selection process for identifying impactful innovations in public administration.

Co-developed detailed evaluation criteria and structured frameworks, ensuring a transparent, objective, and replicable assessment process.

  • Content Development & Digital Communication

Strategically developed and structured the content and user experience of the initiative’s dedicated webpage, clearly highlighting innovations, their impact, key insights, and actionable learnings.

Ensured accessible, engaging, and informative digital representation of innovations, catering effectively to diverse stakeholders, including civil servants, policymakers, and citizens.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination

Facilitated collaboration with stakeholders across India, engaging officials from 18 federal entities—including 42 regions spanning states and union territories—and successfully built consensus for the initiative.

Managed cross-functional communication effectively to collect comprehensive insights, narratives, and data points needed for the final report and public dissemination.
